Ben Affleck directs this movie beautifully. This film was his directorial debut, and he did an excellent job.
Cinematography – 10
The cinematography was great, the framing, the camera movements, etc.
Score – 10
The score for the film was pretty good. It did its job for the film.
Story – 10
The story follows Doug MacRay, as he is just pulling some heists, and one day during a heist, his crew takes a woman hostage. He later begins to develop a relationship with this woman. He then begins to try and figure out how he can get out of this life as a criminal and try and have a life with her. He wants to be with and wants to change his life and become a better man for himself and to be able to have a life with this woman, but everything around him is causing that to be an issue. The story is excellent.
Acting – 10
The acting was great, the actors all did well in their roles.
Post-Production – 10
Editing was a little much on the action scenes. I do think that my opinion could change over time. Regardless, everything was great.
Entertainment – 10
This film was awesome, arguably one of the best films ever.
