Snyder directs this film decently. I think he always has a story to tell. It’s just sometimes the execution is either hit or miss. This film has more positives than negatives. For negatives, a few scenes feel a little rushed, it feels a few scenes were missing, and I do think some parts in the film don’t always work. I do think Snyder did a well enough job directing this film.
Cinematography – 9
The cinematography is beautiful and well done. I will say I’m not the biggest fan of the color palette.
Score – 10
The score for this film was phenomenal. The score brought intensity, a feeling of mystery, suspense, and great anticipation.
Story – 7
The story is pretty solid. The story follows Kal-El/Clark Kent as his parents Krypton sent him to Earth to strive, The story is pretty solid. The story follows Kal-El/Clark Kent as his parents (Krypton) sent him to Earth to strive, prosper, and hopefully build a better life for himself and humanity. I think the writer(s) did a decent job at writing this Superman story. Clark Kent has these powers that can help others; however, he can’t show his true self to the world because the world could potentially lose its mind if they knew someone with Godlike abilities was living among them. Clark has to learn how to stay human and keep himself safe from everyone. I like how we have to see Clark grow and learn to become a better person both as a man and as a person with these powerful abilities. The villains of the film are the remaining Kryptonians led by General Zod. Zod is a Kryptonian who wants Krypton to survive, but we’ll do anything to make sure that happens. My negatives are that the dialogue is pretty hit or miss, a few times where we might have needed a few extra scenes, and a few scenes feel a bit rushed.
Acting – 8
I think the acting is solid. However, some moments don’t always land. That could also come down to possibly the script and direction as well.

Post-production was good. There may have been a few scenes missing. (If there were more scenes filmed).
Entertainment – 8
I don’t recall being bored by this film. I can’t say the same for Batman V. Superman. Regardless, I did find this film to be good. It wasn’t perfect, but good as a whole.
