Directing – 10
The Russo’s directed this film extremely well. The pacing was great, the action is nice, the structure is done nicely, and the choices the Russo’s made were great.
Cinematography – 10
The visuals are great, this is one of the better Marvel films in many categories, the cinematography for this film is excellent.
Score – 10
The score is amazing, the music fits perfectly with the scenes it is placed in.
Story – 10
The story follows The Mad Titan, Thanos, as he continues his quest to obtain all the six infinity stones so he can destroy half of the universe because he believes the universe will finally retain balance and correction. While, The Avengers and Guardians Of The Galaxy, have to try to do everything in their willpower to stop Thanos from getting all six stones, in hopes to save the universe from possible inevitable damnation. The plot is written really well, the structure for this film is exceptional, it follows two sides who have clear wants and needs. In simplistic words, Thanos wants to get all six stones and destroy half of humanity, The Avengers and the Guardians attempting to make sure Thanos can’t get all six stones, so they can hopefully save the universe from destruction. What both sides need, Thanos needs to understand the flaw(s) within his beliefs, The Avengers and Guardians need to put away their selfishness, their arrogance, their stubbornness, and their lack of cooperation, in order to work together and help one another stop Thanos and his servants. The film’s possible themes I would say are Balance, Selfishness, Sacrifice, Judgment, and even Success and Failure, etc. The film is in some ways straightforward and pretty easy to follow, but the way the film is portrayed is different, especially the ending. Which is a little different from many MCU films. The film overall is incredible, the plot is pretty easy to follow and it shouldn’t be much of a problem for people to watch. If someone said this is one of the best superhero films, I guess I can’t disagree, because it just might be in the conversation.
Acting – 10
The acting is exceptional. Everyone gives great performances, everyone plays their characters exceptionally well, and they all give the necessary emotions for the characters.
Post-Production – 10
The editing is done is also excellent, the action, the structure, the scene placements all work well. The effects also look realistic is from the scenes on Earth to different places in Space they look real.
Entertainment – 10
Entertainment-wise, this is one of the MCU’s best films. Is it the best? I always argue that it isn’t, but many do have strong cases for it being the best, I would say Endgame is still the better film, in terms of story, character development, unconventional plotline, etc. However, that does not mean that Infinity War is not a great film. It is an exceptional film, arguably the best. In my opinion, Top 5 best and favorites among MCU films.
