Steven Soderbergh’s direction is absolutely brilliant, everything in this movie is great: The pacing, the acting, the way the film play out, it is both fun at the right times, stressful and satisfying all at once. It’s incredible.
Cinematography – 10
The cinematography is really good in the film, it may not be the most flashy, but it does help tell its story and it really works with the film overall.
Score – 10
The score is really good in the film and it definitely is place in the right times and helps with the film and it’s feelings and emotions overall.
Story – 10
The story overall is amazing about a couple guys who get a group and plan out a heist to rob these big casinos in Las Vegas. The way film is written and structured, which also does go with directing, it works extremely well and is absolutely amazing. The movie itself can be stressful and on the edge of your seat, its pretty witty and at times comedic, which of course works well.
Acting – 10
The acting is awesome. You got Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Casey Affleck, Don Cheadle, Andy Garcia, Julia Roberts, etc. Everyone gives great performances and since a good portion of the actors I have seen it makes it easy for these guys to root for.
Post – Production – 10
The editing in this film is a pivotal part because some things need to be shown at the right times in order for the film to work as a whole. Yes, I do understand that applies to every film, I’m just saying with this film in particular. The editors do a great job with that, and implementing the right scenes and shots at the right times.
Entertainment – 10
