Directing – 9
The Direction the Russo Brothers took with this film was outstanding. The pacing was extremely good. I don’t believe there was really any boring scenes. A negative can be: The characters are in groups and in different places throughout the film. At times we may stay with some characters for long periods, or switch to others, but we may forget to go back to the other groups for a while. The choices for the most part are great.
Cinematography – 10
The film’s cinematography is pretty good, and it helps tell the story.
Score – 10
The score and music is all great. They all work at the appropriate times and for the right scenes.
Story – 9
The story itself is really good. There are nitpicks throughout the film, and that could ultimately help or hurt your viewing experience. I thought they were fine and some can be glossed over. At times, some things have to to happen in order for the film to play out the way it does. The Story itself is pretty good and really engaging.
Acting – 10
The acting is pretty good as well. They all play their characters well. Some can be comedic and serious. All are appropriate at the right times.
Post – Production – 10
The editing is incredible and the special effects are very real and convincing.
Entertainment Value – 10
Overall, the film is widely entertaining. No boring scenes, that I can recall. It is a fun, comedic, entertaining, and dark superhero film. Definitely a great watch. A great movie that can be one to relax and maybe eat popcorn too, but also has a pretty great story as well.
